VR Cover Controller Grips for Meta / Oculus Quest 2 (Dark Grey)

The springs on the buttons are too weak, so the strap seems to go loose around your hand after even 5 minutes of moderate-light use. Somehow even with this looseness issue, half the time the strap feels like its cutting off circulation to my hand. The hard edge at the bottom and the way it wedges your hand at the top makes this unfriendly to people with big hands. After using these for just a few months the glue-like rubber that helps keep the strap from moving began to wear down rapidly. I contacted VR Cover because I couldnt find anywhere to buy replacement straps, VR Cover refused to send me replacements and didnt offer me any options to purchase replacements. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I wont be buying these again unless theyre updated because VR Cover seems to only care about taking my money rather than allowing people to have access to a quality product. This is not a quality product, its materials break in a matter of months and the company that makes it doesnt give you fair options to repair. Its either buy a new set of grips, deal with what you have, or find a more comfortable brand that wont rip you off so outwardly. For the most part, I like VR Cover and the products they sell, but this product is uncomfortable and the service I received is far less than satisfactory. I havent tried alternatives but knowing more about the rounded shape of hands now, Id recommend something like the Kiwi grips instead (particularly of youre having controller battery issues, given the easy battery access on the Kiwi grips).

I do not do reviews, but based on my experience with these, i just had to. it feel like the controllers are stuck to you hands like a glove. The hard plastic is like giving the controller plastic more girth with a better grip. the velvet strap cover feel like butter on the back of my hands. very comfortable. i highly recommend for Aim XR players. the straps do not cut between your pointer finger and thumb. they feel natural like not having a strap but better. I would give this cover 6 stars if i could.******. Oh they also come with extra straps for bigger hands. I hope this review helps

Don’t need to say much about the grips. Makes the experience so much better, and easier since you no longer have to worry about sweaty palms if you’re a long gamer and the fact that since they’re white, the dirt stays and it’s harder to get off. That’s gone with these. Also just started playing the Walking Dead with them. If you don’t have it, I highly suggest you change that as soon as possible haha. Aiming is so much easier with these as well. Just get a pair soon haha.

I hated, I mean HATED spending $30 on these grips, there isnt much to them compared to many others with more features that cost less. I looked at SO many other grips, just like most people, and I had trouble deciding. It boiled down to my personal situation and some complaints that I wasnt willing to deal with. First, I have young children, one of which just barely handles the stock grip size, so I need ease of removal for her because they do as some bulk, check! A common complaint for many grips were signal blocking because of how they are secured. Very hit or miss but I wasnt willing to deal with this right now. No problem for these VRCs, check! Ultimately I am very satisfied. Comfortable, secure, easy to remove, works for me!

Very comfortable and sturdy!

First off coming from experience.. These are not replacements or substitutes for the wrist straps!! The grips simply slip on to the handle part of the controller, quite firmly I must add but WILL slip off if swung hard enough!! Having said that, these are an awesome addition as they allow for a comfortable, firm and secure grip thanks to the backhand strap. They do not add much weight to the controller at all and the thickness of the grip itself to the actual grip button is fine.

Excellent set of grips! Glad I went with these. Sooo much better fitment and comfort! Highly recommend them.

Makes playing more realistic.

A really good edition to have, specially for summer time when you tend to maybe sweat a little more and worrying about grip when playing beat saber. Even if you dont have that issue the extra grip, you now have when using this on your controller puts you mind at ease, specially when you need to throw an object away from you EG. grenades. The quality is great and having and extra strap in case you cut the one too short is great. Simple to install and tighten.
