Its a solid charger overall. Works well with only official Sony PS3 controllers, which is fine. The only problem is, they give you the shortest possible USB cable to plug the charger in. Its maybe 2 long, which limits where you can put this thing unless you buy a longer cable separately.

This is what I needed to keep my remote charged, havent been able to keep remote charged before. Now I have no problem.

Unless the surface containing your charge port is flat (aftermarket controllers tend to have a slight curve), your controllers wont fit. Given how light the dock is, it has a tendency to fall forward and cannot be orientated in another way. After making some... Adjustments... to the retaining shroud, I got the charge ports seated. Only to find that, whether plugged into the PlayStation or a USB equipped surge protector, it wouldnt charge the controllers. Overall, waste of money

They should make a big deal about how it only works with factory controllers. Not third party.

Only works with true Playstation controllers none of my aftermarket would fit.

Perfect for the PS3 controllers.

I give it 4 stars due to the fact that I needed to look for a proper power adapter. Other then that, work as described.
