I had a lot of hesitations and concerns before buying this. Never used a walker for my kids before. My (almost) one year old is in that phase where hes pulling himself up to stand on anything within reach, even on other toys and things that arent sturdy, and its a LOT trying to keep him from hurting himself. So I looked at this walker. I was envisioning the wheels rolling out from under him as he falls onto the floor, or hitting his face on the handle bar. Or, him trying to pull himself up and the whole toy tipping over and him with it. I cannot possibly give enough credit to the design of this product, because none of that has happened. For one, the wheels have some kind of tension setting (which you can adjust) so its not going to roll forward suddenly and make him lose his balance. Ive seen him lean backwards while holding onto the handlebar, the the walker stays right where it is. Hes pulled himself up from every angle and it has yet to tip or wobble. And just to be clear, my little one is NOT so little. Almost one but in 24m/2T clothes! Ive even been surprised with how engaged he is with the front/interactive side of it. He usually isnt that interested in buttons and knobs or noise makers, but he loves the features on this and plays with them quite a bit! Hes fascinated. When I first pulled it out of the package, it seemed really light weight and maybe even cheaply made. I was thinking...oh no. But the design is absolutely superb. (Assembly was quick and straightforward, by the way. Took about 60 seconds) I cant tell you how rewarding it was when I first gave it to him. While hes been pulling himself up on everything else as I mentioned, he had not taken any steps so far. Within the first 2 minutes with this toy, he was pushing it around and walking! Its like he knew exactly what to do! Id give 10 stars if I could.

This is a great little walker, and has kept my babes attention quite well the past 3-4 months. We got it for him around 8 months; sitting but not standing or pulling up yet. He loves the buttons and lights and songs. There are a few cons to mention with this walker, but the same cons could be seen as pros, depending on your view. At first I didnt know why the manufacturer would bother putting an old-fashioned phone on the interface, but eventually baby learned to pick it up and put it to his ear like he was taking a call! Not sure how he learned it, but Im impressed! The front wheels dont have a braking function, but the back wheels do. In any case, theres a good chance that your baby will be able to push it and trip forward with it even when ‘braked’. Its harder to push on carpet, but on the wood floor he can push it fast and furious even while its braked. This means that when he leans on it or rests on it without the intention of walking, he will fall and hurt himself. Because the walker will still move. Even while braked.... That said, its kind-of made him more mobile because he wasnt waiting for ME to figure out that he was good and ready to start walking and turn off the brakes. He determined the day he wanted to walk with it, and walk he did! (Because it could move forward just fine, even while braked....) One other thing to note is that its relatively lightweight, so during those days that baby is learning to pull himself up, he will try to pull himself up using the walker for support, and it will MOST LIKELY slam down in his face because its not weighted in the front. (Get the ice pack!) So I remained hunched over for weeks, weighing down the walker until he developed more leg strength. Seemed like another con to me, until a few days ago when he started walking with the walker all around the house, virtually unassisted! He had a lot of trouble at first figuring out the steering and getting around corners and furniture. But next day, he started to shimmy it in the direction he wanted to go in! He learned to steer!! In 1 day! But he wouldnt be able to do that if the walker was more weighted, as he has to lift it a tad to get around an obstacle. In conclusion, vigilance is always key. And what may seem like a design defect or annoyance is only temporary, as the design proves itself again and again for knowing whats better for my child developmentally than I do! My daughter loved it at a family members house so I had to get one. She loves it and it will grow with her through her journey learning to walk.

It can be a little scary at first when my daughter started to use it. She was not quite balanced enough to walk yet so she only used the musical toy for a while. It doesn’t work well on the hardwood floor at the beginning because my daughter didn’t put enough pressure on the back two wheels but worked great once she was more sturdy on her feet. Wish the front wheels also had the level 1 and 2. I loved how I can remove the musical toy separately without having to buy extra toys for her.

This baby toy is really helpful and fun for a new learner. I realize that my friends baby what’s holding that to walk on he’s own
