The ratchet chain binder by Vulcan is a quality product. It allows you to tighten and secure the chain for hold down purposes. Often times the lever type chain binders are only as good as your ability to straighten and pull the chain taut and can come loose. The ratchet style helps draw the chain and help in the effort of drawing the chain taut beyond ones strength to do so. Would highly recommend this product for those needing this type of chain securing equipment.

These are so heavy they almost destroyed the box in which they were shipped. I doubt they will ever break or wear out. I am using them to help support a set of heavy duty forks installed on the loader bucket of my loader backhoe.
