> 24 hourI think this scanner is a wonderful product for 35mm slides or for negatives. However, I have slides I wanted to convert that date back to the 1950s and the adaptors they have dont work for these. The software is very user friendly and would work quite easily with the scanner.

> 24 hourProduct is very easy to use. Does a great job converting my slide and photo negatives to digital format. Touch-up and enhance program gave me just what I needed to clean up and enhance some of the scans, Company was great to work with!!

> 24 hourAlthough ease of use and installation went very good I was very disappointed with the quality of of the scans on my slides. Color is ok but the sharpness leaves much to be desired. Guess you get what you pay for.

> 24 hourOnce you load the software and sync the hardware, which takes a lot of time, the scanner works ok. However, you can only scan 3 slides at a time and this takes about 5 minutes per 3 slide tray including change-over time. The whole process is arduous if you are scanning many slides or film strips. Otherwise the system works fine.

> 24 hourI bought the VuPoint to scan slides and negatives. Loading the software (which says it works with vista) went fine but the software would not work properly (the scanner camera never showed a preview to allow scanning). Once I loaded the software on another computer with XP, it worked fine. It is a little fickle to get the slides centered but overall considering the cheap cost, it worked fine. The picture quality was quite good for the slides from the 1970s... Overall not bad but remember, you get what you pay for.

> 24 hourContrary to a few other reviewers, I found this product to perform exceptionally well on slides (have not tried negatives) - far better than I expected after reading the other reviews. The output pix files needed some enhancement (with any of a variety of free or purchased photo programs), but that was not a problem at all - the results were superb. I converted some VERY old, faded slides and got absolutely fantastic results. The tray loading system is a little awkward. but it is not a show-stopper. The driver installed and works perfectly on my Vista SP1 and works well as a TWAIN input source for photo programs. If you have any questions on this product, make a comment, and I will try to answer the email that the comment should generate.

> 24 hourI thought I would try this film and slide scanner out as we had hundreds of slides and nothing to show them with. Was I disappointed. The design looked good, easy the use, a no brainier. I could not get the thing to work. I installed and uninstalled the program several times. It just would load the scanner drivers correctly. I finally gave up and contacted Amazon for a replacement. No problem in getting the replacement. I received it within a couple of days. Opened it up and guess what, this one did the exact same thing, IT DID NOT OPERATE AS ADVERTISED!!!!!! I dont know who designed the operating system but it needs to go back to the drawing board. Contacted Amazon again and asked for a refund. Then I order the PrimeFilm scanner.

> 24 hourI had looked everywhere for this item here in my town and couldnt find it. I went on line and looked at all different ones. This one sounded just what I wanted and I was able to get it quickly. It came in great shape, and I gave it to my father for Christmas and he loves it. He has boxes of slides that date back to over 50 years and we have nothing to watch them with. This way we can on all of my familys computers. Thank You!!!

> 24 hourI bought a product which was stated to be NEW. I received one that was covered with stickers declaring it to be REFURBISHED. Guess how I feel...
