Worked fine until switch broke after only a couple of uses.

To glance at color (positive negative), One must uncomfortably have to twist the probe so that you can get the approximately 30° viewing angle, almost perfectly, and this will not work in sunlight, or bright shop conditions unless you put your head right over it and exact which makes it versatility of this tester very clumsy. Also the probe is just a little bit too long, although it may be needed in certain conditions it has to be sharpened never mind I just want to get another one of a different brand and a more prominent display… This was a good start but a waste of money

Replaced a similar testing probe that failed within a year. This one is actually more durable and so far is still working.

This is my second probe and it has become the modern automotive device that is replacing bulb test lights. I will never buy another old style bulb in handle single lead test light because its almost useless compared to this style. This is actually a real power probe just a budget version. I have professional power probe but purchased this just to keep in my car. Build quality is worth $30max but will save you hundreds or make you thousands.

Has a self test every time you connect it to a battery. Durable, simple to use, extra long cord. A must for every 12 volt tech.
