Did not purchase. But is the same pump that Home Depot rents for draining your pool among other things. Clerk says it does 65 GPM pumping water. It is a nice unit and apparently durable enough for HD to rent out! I am prospecting around to potentially buy it. In Dallas it rents for $32.00 all in for pump and 50 of hose for 4 hours. Good pump!

Ive rented it several times before from Home Depot. Im so glad to have it on hand now.

Loaned it out to a friend and it pumped out more water and faster than the one they had.

Buy once - cry once!! Dont waste your money on some other sub-standard pump. These are worth every penny!!

GOOD PUMPS

Started using this pump a couple of weeks ago to empty a water recycling barrel in our shop when the water starts to overflow or just gets too dirty. I have a small stone cutting operation and have a closed system that recycles the cooling water for our tools. Sometimes the pump is running for hours at a time only pumping water out of a 3/8 line to feed a small hand tool but it doesnt overheat or have any problems with running constantly without any flow. When I want to empty a large barrel I simply remove the fittings that reduce the size for our tools and attach the 2 hose and it again pumps it out like a firehose! This pump is heavy and appears to be made well. Like most things today it is made in China.
