Warm & White Cotton Batting (90 x 108) Queen Size

I bought these for my quilting guild to use in our charity donation quilts. The main reason being that this batting does not require a quilt to be closely quilted....the quilting can be as much as 10 inches apart. This batting made layering the quilt easy because fabric sort of sticks to it and does not slide out of place like a poly batting. Our quilts were tied...about 6 between ties. The finished product has a nice weight and drapes nicely, stays folded when folded. One of our quilts was washed and dried by machine (to remove markings) and it looked the same as the ones that hadnt been washed. This batting is probably not the best choice for hand quilting. Also it claims to be the same as the Warm and Natural batting, but to me, it seems a little things her and lighter weight...just a little.

I have been quilting for over 40 years and Warm and Company has become my number one batting. I love working with it. I do all my quilting by hand.

It’s not my favorite type of batting, but it is a good batting for this type of batting. The color is nice and white- good to use under white fabric. This type of batting is a bit thin, stiff and weak, like a cotton felt. But this brand is one of the better ones.

The new comforter on my guest bed had polyfill batting which became lumpy after first washing. The comforter shell was in great shape and I liked the look with coordinating shams and pillows. Before purchasing an entire new look for the room I decided to try replacing the old batting with this cotton batting. The cotton batting is strong, no shredding or stretching and very easy to work with. My comforter looks very good now. It is smooth on the bed - not lumpy! I was able to keep the look I like for my guests. I recommend the product and will definitely order it again.

This batting is a nice weight for quilts. It is easy to quilt and since it is white, it wont show through my quilts. It is a good value.
