Wasserstein Weatherproof Power Cable Compatible with Blink Outdoor, Blink Outdoor (3rd Gen) & Blink XT2/XT Camera - Long and Thin 16ft Cable (2 Pack, Black)

I use Blink cameras for my modest home security set up. And I find the primary power source (AA Lithium/non rechargeable) to be lacking in regards of intended use. These Wasserstein cables, which are basically flat extended length micro-usb. Are more than a match for things like cameras in awkward spaces where you cant/shouldnt drill into to lay wire. And I have an older home so you dont want holes that let in anymore cold air than what already gets through. Theyre just thin enough to slip in-between the slightest of door cracks and when closed they dont end up bent or creased. At least not in my use thus far. They also come with a rubber gasket of sorts that slips in over the Blink usb port to the wire and keeps it dry. You could buy some other micro-usb cables but in the defense of the pricing here these are really sturdy and feel pretty heavy duty.

Thank god for this product! It saves me money replacing batteries and the inconvenience of it! 100% will recommend. Only downside is, I can’t purchase 1 item only. Yet i’ll just save it for the future!

I havent yet Installed these as the weather is bad, but I like what I see although I did notice that the weather proof seal is on a half turn off. There is a small tab that holds the camera seal to the body and a small notch in your weather seal, all mine were in the opposite direction. No big deal easy to re install, but someone may not notice this and have a water leak issue. I purchased your item because of the seal on the camera end!!!

We have had two of these for well over a year now with no problems. We moved into a house and these came with us. Reinstalled them with no issues so we bought 2 more outdoor Blink Cameras and 2 more of these cables because they’ve worked so well.

So nice to not have to buy batteries!! Easy to install and perfect fit. Still able to shut windows.

Im only giving 4 stars for weatherproof because the cable is not heavy duty and has a USB adapter plug in. Seriously doubt it will withstand much more than a slight drizzle let alone the type of weather we have here in upstate New York.

Had an issue with one of my cameras but manufacture replaced quickly. Wish they all features without paying extra. Overall I am satisfied.
