Unsanitary to have an accessory to a medical device come in a mailer without any bag or protection against germs. Not sure where it came from, where it was made or what its made out of. Sketchy. Could have been pre-used for all I know.

This is original manufacturer part, not a substitute. Good value for your money.

Having a second water container allows the overnight soaking of the one thats been in use in vinegar to clean the calcium deposits and to sanitize the reservoirs in general. I highly recommend getting one of these so you have two. Very happy with my purchase.
