> 24 hourI have purchased two of these in the past and they worked wonderful. However, after replacing the old one with this one, the water is not filtering through the filter. It comes out the tank but it does not come out of the filter into the hose. Thus, I am unable to get steam. I wish I could exchange it for another one, but now Ill have to buy another ones since this one doesnt work.

> 24 hourOk, so this is just like all the other filters Ive tried. Just set it up, but I expect it to work fine. 4* because I wish they had set up instructions for those who dont know, and I wish the casing was see-through so that I can tell when to replace it. Here are my 2 minute set up and prime instructions: 1. Turn off the water. 2. Remove your old filter directly from the spigot and have someone hold it so water doesnt come out. 3. Put the new filter on. 4. Hold a cup underneath it and turn on the water until it flows. 5. Turn off the water (due to the vacuum created, water wont flow out when its turned off.) 6. Now remove the old filter while covering the hose with your thumb because a little water might come out 7. Now attach the hose to the new filter. DONE. Steam should work just fine.

> 24 hourWorks great once primed but takes its time becoming primed. Like a week of 8 hour days of being turned on. Works great after that. Perhaps it’s packed to tight?

> 24 hourThis product did work for about 2 uses, then the colors turned and water lost the demineralization properties rapidly. Would not buy again.

> 24 hourIt was delivered as it was represented. I have had no trouble with the iron and actually works better with the mineral filter, than my previous gravity feed iron.

> 24 hourTap water in a model stem engine boiler causes a lot of mineral build up that can make the boiler a lot less efficient. This solves the problem.

> 24 hourSEWTCO Water Filter cartridge(L photo) is opaque. So it is impossible to see if you need to replace cartridge based on your ironing habits. The cartridge replacement recommendation is every 3 months however if you iron a lot or a little that means you are changing less often then you need to or more often then you need to. As you can see by the photo the SAPPORO Inline Demineralizer Cartridge (R photo) had a clear window to check the condition of demineralizer. I have very hard well water and this product still does the job hence 3 stars.
