This is a must-have. I am now on my second breastfeeding pillow because the first one I had did not have a waterproof cover. Although I washed the cotton cover regularly, moisture got through and ruined the pillow. It is a little hard to get on, but once you get it on it stays in place and does its job.

Great fit for the pillow considering it’s not made by My Brest Friend, and I think it will absolutely protect the foam from spills. But for the love of god, there has got to be a zipper installed on it or something because it took me a good 20 minutes to stuff the pillow into this thing. Thankfully now that it’s on I shouldn’t ever have to remove it, but getting that weirdly shaped foam into the vinyl slipcover through an envelope style opening was my single greatest accomplishment/headache of this pregnancy.

Not nearly as hard to put on as other reviews have stated. It took maybe 10 minutes. Fit the long part on first, like putting on stockings though. Straighten it as you go along so you dont have to do too much adjusting once its in. But even if you do have to adjust, it was a little loose enough. Definately shouldnt take 20.

Great fit and utility, but I agree with the other reviewers who said its an absolute nightmare to put on the foam in the first place. There should definitely be a zipper or velcro or something so that the opening can be similar to the official covers which are also hard to get on and off but not impossible like this thing.

I was looking for something to keep the foam of my pillow clean and intact (I noticed chunks started to tear off on the edges). I ordered this and had read the reviews that it is difficult to put on. It does take some effort to put onto your pillow and I totally think its worth it. I dont have to worry about milk or spit up soaking through the fabric cover and into the foam. And its now easier to put the fabric cover on. **TIP for putting on liner: start with the back support part. Gather the liner (think of putting on stockings) and get the end into the liner. As you begin to cover the foam, try to keep it aligned as much as possible. The liner doesnt give a lot of wiggle room. As you get to middle, go to the front portion and do the same, gathering the liner and starting at the corner. When you get towards the middle, because of the flap and the tightness of the liner, you may have to wrestle with it a bit. If you try to adjust the liner, it takes a little cajoling and adjusting it a little at a time to line up the edges.

Fits amazingly under the cloth cover to keep the foam from getting soiled. The best part is that you don’t tear the foam trying to take off the cloth cover to wash. Waterproof cover stays on all the time, keeping the foam clean and unbroken.

Does exactly what I bought it for-protecting my pillow. It is hard to put on but there is no way around that. I would recommend if you want a cover for your pillow. I put it over a waterproof cover as well. Haven’t washed yet because it’s so annoying to get on and off.

I LOVE the concept of this and wish I had found this for my first baby, before my pillow was too used and abused. However- it needs to have some sort of a zipper or better way of getting the cover on- it was NOT easy. Took time to get it the right way and on a foam pillow. Glad I finally got one on- definitely hope it was worth the struggle!

A product like this was essential to keep the foam insert clean for the nursing pillow, so we decided to try this one out. Yes, the install can be tricky, but as long as you get the foam and the cover oriented before you start stuffing it, it can be done in a few minutes. Stuff the long skinny piece in first and make sure to keep it oriented and not twisted as you work it in. We ordered two of them, and one of them had stitching that blew out during the install. We contacted the seller to notify them that the stitching failed and we werent being abusive with it, and they promptly had a replacement sent to us. The replacement got lost in transit due to USPS fault, and the seller promptly sent another replacement with no hassle. Very nice customer-forward response. To avoid stitching failure, I would recommend trying to press and stuff the foam into the cover instead of trying to pull the cover over the foam. Fortunately the install should be a one-and-done process, so not something you have to worry about doing repeatedly.
