Bigger than a fanny pack and a lot smaller than a messenger bag, to hold wallet, checkbook, small notebook, pens, large Note 4 phone (in the Velcro pocket), glasses and sunglasses. Can connect on belt if needed or held by top handle...if not using the strap. I added a mini 1/4 spring snap (ACE hardware) to quickly clip my large key ring to the outside.
