Didnt have it too long before it started crashing.. friend hard resetted it 2-3 times now lasts maybe a couple weeks then starts crashing.. now its a few days before it starts crashing...

For the record, the ssd was bent and box was damaged. The ssd works great, and have no issues so far. I just wanted to put that out, If something fails in the future.

WD SSD is always best. Transfer Data perfectly. Speedy and work nicely. Less heated during work. Can buy it confidently. Thanks seller and amazon.

We had a 2017 iMac that was running painfully slow. A cold boot would take several minutes to finish, and every time an app was loaded, you had to wait for a beach ball. No amount of maintenance solved the slowness issue (including a factory reset with full clearing of system cache). Then, I ran Black Magic against the on-board factory drive and found it was running at about 25Mbps read/write. So I attached a `WD_BLACK 500GB SN770 NVMe` boot drive using an Acasis enclosure and Thunderbolt 4 cable and Black Magic reported roughly 2,500Mbps read/write--100 times faster. So for less than US$150, our 5-year old iMac has a new lease on life.

Very disappointed it has no DRAM. I understand that you can use system memory for that, but I dont want to. Seriously ? How much does a single DRAM chip cost ? A couple bucks at most. Give me a break. Would NOT buy this again.

Drive seems to work fine but isnt anywhere near 1Tb. My system reads the brand new, unused drive as 931Gb. Thats a fairly large discrepancy between advertised space and what I got. If it had been 980-ish I wouldnt have said anything. Everything else seems to be as advertised.

Awesome NVMe, great performance

Drive died in 6 months. Filled with games then never Uninstaller or reinstalled games on it. System is on an apc. Disappointed.
