I wanted a dependable, affordable and portable high storage capacity HDD. It was between this and the Seagate. Between these 2 brands, Ive only had issues with the Seagate in the past. However, a 4TB Seagate was $20 cheaper than the WD. Ive heard issues w.r.t transfer speeds on the Seagate, so I decided to get the WD for $20 more. Im glad to say that Ive made the right choice. Out of the box, it was formatted in ExFAT (which I prefer). I immediately transferred 30GB of files over to this HDD and it transferred at a rate of 1Gb/Sec! AWESOME! Just what I expected. If youre trying to decide whether to save a few dollars; dont. Not worth the money and time.

I purchased this onsale, and for less than $100 it was well worth it for 4tb for the Xbox1, while it will work for other devices!

I am able to use my PS4 more and don’t have to keep deleting games off. I can play older games as well. I am glad I bought it. It keeps all the titles on there and I can keep the saved items on my PS4.

oh man. The 4 tb of storage is freaking huge for me cause of the fact I like to play games that uses mods to add more to them like ark, l4d2, and many others. Lot heavier then I thought so i feel that tells me really good protection for the items stored

Where have you been all my life. Thank you Jesus I don’t have to delete a game to play a new game anymore. Extremely durable and extremely fast for my PS4.
