Great for gaming and has massive storage space. I use it on my Ps5 and it fit all my games plus I have 1TB extra. Reason I gave it 4 star is because I don’t know if mine is defective but it makes clicking/grinding every now and then. I called tech support so just waiting for them to fix it hopefully

Easy to use best alternative to swaping the internal hard drive

Heavy duty, well made and fast. Actually using this one as digital photo storage. As a Naturalist with about 1.2TB of photos (birds, insects, mammals, reptiles, plants, etc.), this serves as a portable library as well as tertiary backup of all my photos.

I use the WD black drives for backups. I copy lots of large jpg and NEF files. These drives do not bog down even when copying very small files from from drive C. I trust my photos to WD drives. Just be sure to have more than one backup because any drive can fail. You do not want to loose those precious memories.

Bought for my PS4. Easy to set-up/install. Took maybe a half hour total. Started saving games to right away. Shipping was quick as well. It actually arrived before the estimated date.
