I’m sure it’s great otherwise, but the whole reason I have been looking for extra space to download PS5 games and be able to play them. I’ve honestly yet to find an external hard drive that does this. Regardless of the place. I started with a lower price Samsung one (didn’t work), then spend a little more to try this and it still is not working for what I need. Thank God Amazon is so easy to do returns with. At this point I’ve gone through a stack of drives and still have yet to find something I can play PS5 games with. Like I said, thank God, Amazon is so good about returns. For better or worse that’s where they beat everyone else.

Works great. I got this for my boyfriend for our two year anniversary in January, it’s may now and it’s still working great. He has every game he has ever wanted to play installed. He didn’t want a Seagate because his last one broke on him, this brand seems to be just what he was looking for in a gaming storage device.

Cant go wrong w. the WD Black. I have started replacing backup drives w. these as the old ones fail. So far these are Fast and Reliable

Easy to use plug and play and hold a ton of games for the PS5! Would buy 10x’s over! Will purchase another one even bigger and one for my computer!

Perfect for ps5 users that play a lot of ps4 games and have not sprung for the internal hard drive pretty quiet I don’t even notice it anymore

After years of downloading and deleting games due to being out of storage space. I finally bit the bullet and bought a storage drive for my PS5. I couldnt be happier with the performance of this product.

I havent had to delete any more treasured files just because I needed to fit something more important since I got one of these for me and the other for my spouse.

I purchased several of these for the large storage capacity to use with my Mac laptop. While they are not very fast, they offer a decent amount of storage for a low cost. My only complaint is that the led indicator does not flash to indicate copying but simply pulses slowly to show that it is connected and powered. Note that the case uses a proprietary internal connection to the drive so you cant open it and swap out the drive. Overall Im happy with the drives and would recommend. Cant speak to their use with a gaming console.
