> 3 dayPurchased this because my XBox X 1TB internal storage has filled up pretty quickly and I noticed that I cannot play X/S optimized games from Xbox One Seagate drive. I didnt want to shell out 400 bucks for an optimized Seagate drive. Since the Xbox store was offering the 2TB (sold out) version of this drive I thought the 5TB was a great buy. Unfortunately, I am having the same issue as the old Seagate drive. You can store X/S games but not play them from the drive. You need to transfer them back to internal storage. Very disappointed.

Greater than one weekI’m sure it’s great otherwise, but the whole reason I have been looking for extra space to download PS5 games and be able to play them. I’ve honestly yet to find an external hard drive that does this. Regardless of the place. I started with a lower price Samsung one (didn’t work), then spend a little more to try this and it still is not working for what I need. Thank God Amazon is so easy to do returns with. At this point I’ve gone through a stack of drives and still have yet to find something I can play PS5 games with. Like I said, thank God, Amazon is so good about returns. For better or worse that’s where they beat everyone else.

> 3 dayI am a fan of WD drives, but this is not up to the usual WD standards. This drive was connected to a desktop where it was never moved around yet the drive started to fail out of nowhere. I dont feel like I can recommend this drive, even though I am a fan of WD.

Greater than one weekFor such a low price for 5TB of portable storage, who could complain? I have even dropped it a couple times with no bad effects. I would buy it again and reccomend it to friends.

> 3 day5tb for the price isnt too bad all things considered, but holy heck this hard drive is slow. Would recommend finding a 7200 rpm for consoles. Fine for small games/data but red dead redemption 2 or other large games take game breaking amounts of time to load off this. Also, it is formatted for exfat when you get it. For anything microsoft, it will need an NTFS reformat to be faster and to work with xbox. Solid hard drive if you can get past these two things.

> 3 dayI bought this drive to store PS4 games for my PS5 and to add any over flow PS5 games. You CAN store PS5 games on this drive. It has 4.6 TB of the advertised 5TB storage. Im not even close to filling that thing and it should last the life of my PS5. I probably have it 1/3 filled after putting all my PS4 games on it. I believe I can play PS4 games directly from this drive, but I would have to transfer the PS5 games back to the PS5 in order to play those. Everything at this point has worked as advertised and Im happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayCrystal Mark test shows below average performance. I was looking for a CMR drive and was happy to determine this drive being one. Crystal Disk Info reports this drive supports TRIM, so it might have some flash for use as a cache, But was VERY DISAPPOINTED that the rotational speed of only 4800RPM. I tried on a couple of computers, including my new HP ENVY, also 4800RPM. Thought I had a defective one so got a replacement from Amazon.com, but the replacement drive was also running at 4800RPM, with similar poor performance. Needless to say this was NOT an acceptable solution for me, so I returned the drive and bought a cheap SATA SSD which greatly outperformed the P10 WD - you need to do BETTER. 2.5 Stars. Added on 11/11: This item was returned following the Amazon.com instruction. Upon initiating the return to Amazon, there is a QR code presented for scanning by UPS. There is no UPS Tracking Label alongside the QR code. Amazon and UPS shows no status of the return in progress. All I see is a shipping label created status on the Amazon Returns page. Since I returned four items at the same time I have no way of determining which UPS tracking Number is associated with a given QR code. I dropped four items at the UPS store on Monday the 7th. On Friday - today I still cannot see any tracking information other than shipping label created status. I used to be able to see tracking status on UPS, but now see nothing. This is very frustrating as I cannot check the current status of my return. This all used to work fine but unfortunately now does not. I have four QRs and four actual UPS tracking numbers and I dont know which tracking number is associated with a given QR code. I contacted Amazon customer Service. Apparently they can see the current UPS tracking status but the customer cannot. I also used to be able to get text messages saying that my package was received and my order credited. I do not get that now. MAKE SURE you get a receipt at UPS when your item is scanned, so at least you have recourse in case you get a message from Amazon that the have not received your return!
