I like the storage device, the features, allowing you to store movies, video games, music and other media on it. You can store all your entertainment on it, it is a unique device specially designed for xbox consoles, for enhanced quality and performance.

Maybe everybody already knew this but I thought you could load the drive up with games and actually play them. Most games are telling me they have to run from internal storage. Then to transfer games from the external to an Xbox X is 300-400mbps. I can download faster than that. I’m better off deleting games and redownloading them than storing them on the external and transferring over when I want to play.

This drive is attractive and seems to perform as advertised. I havent really used it. I am just reporting that in my drive (Xbox version), which I ordered in July 2020, the Game Pass codes included had already expired the previous month (see picture). I dont know if this will be true for all drives ordered, but I was surprised that they had an expiration date to begin with. Amazon was able to process a partial refund for the code, so I am satisfied, but it was a surprise & hassle.

Looked super nice and was a bit bigger and heavier than I thought It was gonna be, plugged it in and its saying I only have 4.5 tb available but thats my ONLY complaint about it. I rate it 9.5/10

I would like to consider myself a gamer and this hard drive allowed me to keep my games on my xbox and download some additional content. Now I can enjoy my game pass.

Okay to start off the expansion storage for only Xbox is good. I bought for my Xbox Series S, I bought the 5TB (it actually has 4.5TB but it’s still good) the storage size is amazing and can hold all my games and apps on there no problem. The only problem is that I CANNOT play ANY of the latest generation games (Xbox Series X/S games) on my Xbox Series S from this external hard drive, I can play older games like Xbox One/360 games from this so I guess that’s a plus. I don’t know if this is a problem on the Xbox X as well but on the Xbox S if you want to play Xbox Series X/S games on it you have to buy an INTERNAL storage expansion.

Using this for my Series S and its an absolute buy! 5tb is plenty of storage for the games I play. Only downside is you cant move Series X|S enhanced games over but its not really an issue.

I got this a year ago for Xbox series s worked fine for a year and just all of a sudden stop working no warning or reason. Its not like this is cheap or anything. Wish i had read the reviews before I purchase this trash. Dont buy
