I would like to consider myself a gamer and this hard drive allowed me to keep my games on my xbox and download some additional content. Now I can enjoy my game pass.

Exactly efficient for game storage

Works great with my Xbox One S. The size of some of these games it’s nice to have an extra 5 terabytes of storage. USB powered and looks good with the white of the one S.

So useful that I forgot I have a HDD connected. However, it can get a little slow after many data transfer but apart from that, 100% solid. Love it!

I was hoping that you could play from the box but it is a storage only. You have to transfer back and forth to play. Faster than redownloading though so it works. Nice product, looks sleek, good device that does its job

Great HDD. Worked exactly as I needed it to. Just one problem: the LED light is freaking bright. I recommend hiding the drive as much as you can.

Due to the fact that it’s an HDD, it has limited rpms and when I try to install new games, it sometimes tells me the drive is too slow for the game like forza or flight simulator or even dead by daylight. I bought it for a series S and am perfectly happy with it, however I’m not happy that some games don’t want to go in here and ask for an ssd but that’s not on WD. some of those games I have on my PC with a less capable hard drive and run with no problem. I don’t get why they couldn’t make it so those games would run hard drives like these. Aside from that, great product, used to get really hot at first but I moved it away from the console and now it only gets slightly warm when in use
