I purchased this hard drive in hopes of upgrading from my seagate that I was using for my Xbox one to my series X. I needed to free up internal storage for the newest games so they could run properly. Its fair to say that this hard drive sort of did that job. It cant run a lot of the newer titles but it can run some series x games and all of the xbox one games I have...just a little disappointed because I still need more storage of recent titles but whats the point of moving them if this drive isnt even fast enough to play them. Its a shame because it said its compatible. Ill keep it for now. Just be warned it may not work on most recent games.

Awesome I got 104 games installed and I still have so much room got tired of uninstalling lots of stuff to make room for other games I’d probably buy a 2nd one for my other Xbox it’s light and easy to move

Okay to start off the expansion storage for only Xbox is good. I bought for my Xbox Series S, I bought the 5TB (it actually has 4.5TB but it’s still good) the storage size is amazing and can hold all my games and apps on there no problem. The only problem is that I CANNOT play ANY of the latest generation games (Xbox Series X/S games) on my Xbox Series S from this external hard drive, I can play older games like Xbox One/360 games from this so I guess that’s a plus. I don’t know if this is a problem on the Xbox X as well but on the Xbox S if you want to play Xbox Series X/S games on it you have to buy an INTERNAL storage expansion.

Love the compact design, portability, and storage space options it provides! I’m probably going to purchase another one just to have as a spare for my sons gaming console as well! Would highly recommend this product!!!

Had this product for 3 years and it already died. The space is great but for the money and the brand name it should have lasted a while longer… quite disappointed. Now I have to shop for another $150+ portable hard drive.

I would like to consider myself a gamer and this hard drive allowed me to keep my games on my xbox and download some additional content. Now I can enjoy my game pass.

Dont buy the 5 tb version because you only get 4.5 tb so might as well get rhe cheaper version the the most expensive version like i did

Arrived 7/1/20. The hard drive came with the game codes expired past 6/20/20 and no longer able to be redeemed. A huge major flaw and I give this product 3 stars since the item did not come as described. Please review your products before shipping! So far as I am typing this, the hard drive works perfectly and I can store tons of games. I tried contacting Xbox Support, Western Digital, and Amazon but all were unable to provide me working replacement codes. However, the only thing that works is that we are able to return the Hard drive to get a refund. If you only care about the hard drive and not the 2-Month Xbox Game Pass then I suggest buying it. In my situation, the codes came expired and do not work. Update: 7/11/20. I tried to redeem the expired codes once again but now they seem to be working! I dont know why, but a week later the codes seem to be working once again. 3-star rating changed to 5 stars. If your codes did indeed come expired, I would try again. If they still dont work, it is worth a shot but still, contact Western Digital or just return the hard drive.
