Greater than one weekI use it as a back up when the plug has a small or narrow availability of space on the outlet. I also use it as in extension cord.

> 3 dayI left my Macbook Pro on this charger overnight and now it will no longer power on. Do not do what I did and try to save a couple dollars at the expensive of a several thousand dollar device. Ive tried using a separate charging brick with all original apple parts to rule out a fried power supply and it still will not charge.
