Purchased this to replace the original factory gun on an old Lincoln SP-100. I was having intermittent welding quality problems and this new gun, combined with a knurled feed wheel, have eliminated the issue. The trigger works well and the springs on the gun AND machine ends keeps the cord from kinking at the usual vulnerable spots. The gun is not bulky, perfect for working in tight spaces. It fit my old machine perfectly and was installed without modification in under five minutes. The old SP-100s seem to last forever, but guns do not-glad this replacement was available.
