> 3 dayMiG welders have liners through which the welding wire is pushed. Eventually from an accident or old age the liners need to be replaced. Any t kink or sharp protrusion in the liner prevents the wire from moving smoothly to the welding gun. I realized this when my Lincoln Weld-Pak 155 started sputtering-out the welding wire. I disassembled the exterior casing from the interior wire drive mechanism and after loosening the set screw at the base pulled the liner out. The 35-40-15 .030-.035 liner I purchased from WeldingCity.com was an exact match after I trimmed it down to the length I needed. It installed easily with no difficulty. (INSTALLATION NOTE: if you trim the liner or need to cut it make sure that there is no sharp point in the liner that can snag your welding wire. File down is necessary.) My wire fed welder now runs smoothly. I found the cost of this replacement liner fair and its construction to be similar to the original from Lincoln.

> 3 dayHad to cut it down quite a bit. Some people might not be able to do that as easily. Overall seemingly good product.

> 3 dayWorks but not quite right. Just installed this in my Lincoln weld pak and it didnt quite match the old part. The brass fitting on the welder end is shorter than the stock piece. As a result, when you try to tighten the set screw it actually tries to push the liner fitting out. I solved this by snugging it up finger tight, but not enough to push the fitting out. It says all over this item description that its made for the 100L mig gun, but it can merely be made to work. I give it 3 stars because I was able to make it work and its wishing find. Knocked 2 stars off because I couldnt just use it. Instead I had to fiddle around with it and come up with my own solution.
