Wesco Pet Mini Bird Kabob Shreddable Bird Toy

Took a while for my parakeet to figure out what it was and what she is supposed to do with it. Now shes chomping on it daily, but it will take a while for her to wipe it out.

I bought this as a gift for my grandsons bird but they live in another state and I plan to present it when we visit the family next month. Sorry I cant say whether Spike will like it, but I can say it was more substantial than I had expected. Spike generally eats just about anything and he spends his time caged up, so I dont think there will be any question that hes going to like this toy.

My parrot loves chewing as I mentioned and they all need that. Problem is he had it chewed in one day and that would be one heavy bill to replace every other day. I will stick to the wooden blocks now.

My little cockatiel doesnt seem to be overly interested in this product (or many toys for that matter). I like that it is made of natural fibers and is shreddable but wont hurt him. I would recommend this toy for birds that like to play and shred; theyd love it!

I originally purchased one of these for my particularly nibbly younger male cockatiel. He loves just sitting there, eyes closed, sinking his beak into the soft yucca chips. However, my other two cockatiels (a male and a female) soon discovered that they enjoyed it too. Now I keep one in my males cage and in my females cage at all times! You dont need toys that are painted all whacky colors for them to be exciting or enjoyable to your bird.

Our GCC loves to destroy this. Its his favorite shredding toy weve ever found. Will be buying again. :)

My two young budgies took a couple weeks before they knew what to do with it. At first they just chewed at the string at top and I was worried they were gonna knock it down before figuring it out, but now theyve utterly decimated the first chunk and are working hard on the next one. They dont even bother with their old favorite bell toy, totally fascinated by this shreddable link. Given some of the scary negative reviews I am keeping a close eye on any loose bits and trimming as needed.

my birds love it but it isnt cost effective.

My bird was not interested in this item. Surprised me as he loves to bite on things. I have put it away for a while and will bring it back out when he is a bit older I appreciate the fast shipping
