Solid brass, so it will never corrode like the original one that came with my shower pan. Well designed and manufactured. Still looks new after several months of use.

Replaced 21 year old cover that had fallen apart. The new cover was installed in seconds and is very secure...My wife and I love the appearence of the polished brass as it matches the original brass plumbing fixtures in the shower.

My old plastic drain lasted about 22 years and was yellowed and cracked. My mistake for putting my full 230 lbs directly on it. This one fit perfectly and matched the shower plumping hardware. Definitely a sturdy and worthwhile replacement/upgrade.
