> 3 dayWe bought this for my fiances Lenovo Ideapad L340. Keep in mind that when you buy this it does not come with the cable to connect it, but I think it does come with the bracket. Either way, theres one you can find on Amazon too elsewhere. But it fit perfect and gave us a good amount of extra storage for any games he wants to play! Very easy installation as well.

> 3 day**NOTE: My pictures were taken a few hours after I had the drive running for a bit. When I first tested the drive, it has 0 power on hours! So, first thing I want to say is this drive is advertised as a retail drive but is in-fact an OEM drive. Normally this isnt an issue except that when you have an OEM drive from Western Digital (WD) the warranty is now on the OEM to uphold instead of WD. The OEM in this case being the seller (Hard Drive Geeks for me). The only physical difference on the drive is the Western Digital label on top is replaced with a white label. I set my rating at 3 stars because it clearly shows a retail drive but is instead a OEM drive. The main issue is that Western Digital WILL NOT warranty this drive because it is an OEM drive. If your drive has an issue you MUST go to the seller. A lot of the times, this is fine but it all depends on if your seller actually backs their warranty. That being said, the seller MUST maintain the same warranty period or longer. Since WD warranties this for 2 years, so must the seller of the OEM drive. The decision should be up to you really on buying this. The warranty of most hard drives dont cover data recovery in the first place (unless you have higher end NAS drives) so I dont expect most people to use the warranty even when there is an issue. I expect most people to contact a data recovery service. So... long story short is that if you are concerned about getting a retail drive with the retail warranty, I would look to the manufactures website for purchasing options, otherwise the OEM version of the drive (for me) was brand new and performed at expected levels for a 5400 RPM spinning disk and will work fine for me needs as a secondary storage drive with an SSD cache on top to speed things up a little. TL;DR: The drive is a genuine new Western Digital drive sold to a third-party seller with a white label on top instead of Western Digital branding. The drive should be new (install Crystal Disk Info to check) with 0 hours of power on time. Western Digital does not warranty white label/OEM drives, the warranty is up to the seller to take care of. That being said, the seller is required to maintain the same warranty period or longer, which in my case was the minimum of 2 years. This drive performs as expected and is for all intensive purposes the same physical drive as the retail version, just no WD branding on top.

> 3 dayI had a 1tb drive in my Dell 5587 laptop, and I had long considered replacement options. While a SSD would have been better, they are just not affordable yet in 2tb. I found this 5400 rpm 2 tb drive by WD which is the same 5400 stats as the drive I had. And since I just installed a WD-Blue in my desktop, I knew it was a great choice. Installation is pretty straight forward and so far the drive works as advertised. I will update my review if anything changes. On a side note, I will not buy any seagate drives as everyone I have had over the last three years failed.

> 3 daySuccessful replacement of the internal 500gb drive on my Xbox One S with this 1TB model. Nobody mentions compatibility, but Ive never been able to get Seagate drives to work. Some Xboxes come with WD blues from the factory so thats a very safe bet. Had Toshiba drives work as well, which also come factory in Xboxes. Do some research if youre going it, but its dead easy and can be done up to 2TB
