I bought this to get more space in my PS4. While it may not be the fastest or most high performance drive when attached to PS4 hardware, it does work fine. An important thing to note though. The hard drive that came to me had an unusual sticker on it. I guess these are OEM drives, or ones not typically bought in store. Regardless, the drive still worked perfectly fine for me, and passed all hardware tests. It is still a legit WD hard drive that arrived to me.

Bought this to hold my movies music and pictures on and it does it’s job well

We know nothing about computers and this was pretty easy to use. All we had to do was get the info by clicking the yellow get product support tab in the your orders page. It took us to amazon chat and they quickly messaged us the link. The link was easy!! Just download and follow instructions. Saved an $800 computer for just $48 !! Really appreciate!! Highly recommend!!

Only used it for few weeks, cant really give comprehensive review because I just put my files there and it just does its thing. Ill obviously edit my review should it stop working. But for now, I am a one big happy customer. I dont care about benchmark speeds because it just stores my files. I dont put AAA games on there or anything like that.

The harddrive has very good storage capacity and was easy to install into the computer. However, as a warning to those not tech savvy, like I, it is not formatted. This means that youll have to go into the properies on the harddrive and format/initialize it yourself. It is not broken. 5 stars if it came formatted.

No, really working good and quiet

You get what you pay for. It works as expected. It’s absolutely quiet. I don’t hear it at all. It was easy to install. What I didn’t like but I don’t see how it affects my usage is the fact that it didn’t come in the same label long as the one in its marketing and promotional photos. The package was secure when I received it. It didn’t appear used or anything like that. I used mine in the 2012 Mac mini as the second drive to store my huge photo library and my music. Works well.

I have several builds that I have used WD drives in, and i have never had a problem.
