This is a hidden gem in hard drives. 8GB and consumer prices, but it uses CMR so it doesnt slow down when Im copying a large job for backup.I saved over $30 over a regular NAS drive, and since its just for an every 2 week backup and will spend the rest of the time turned off, Im not worried about the drive running constantly. Good price, good technology and good size! Win-win-win!

Si se requiere de un disco duro HDD para almacenar grandes cosas, este disco es muy bueno, buena marca y funciona muy bien, hay que tener claro que no se iguala a un SDD pero para iniciar, será una buena decisión además que trae una cantidad de espacio suficiente para una persona del común.

While I would easily have recommended this drive in the past, the more recent models have cheapened out a lot and the WD Blue name means less than it once did. However, should you have any from around 2020 and before, they are pretty exceptional drives. SSDs are easily better and Id recommend anyone get that for a boot drive, but for extra storage you really cant beat pre-2020 WD Blue hard drives.
