Plenty of storage for the money. Cant go wrong with WD either. Have it for 4 weeks now. No problems at all. Exactly what I expected.

The first one I received was dead on arrival exchange for another one. it was easy to install and works great. I love the extra space for my data files

While I would easily have recommended this drive in the past, the more recent models have cheapened out a lot and the WD Blue name means less than it once did. However, should you have any from around 2020 and before, they are pretty exceptional drives. SSDs are easily better and Id recommend anyone get that for a boot drive, but for extra storage you really cant beat pre-2020 WD Blue hard drives.

It is a good product at a cheap price, acceptable transfer speed, rotation speed 5640 RPM. enough storage capacity. Packaging and protection: hard drive does not dance in the box, it comes with some plastic that prevents it from moving during transport. Status: The hard drive arrived in perfect condition.

Converted my old computer to a NAS server with TrueNAS. Loaded up two 4tb drives in RAID1 and its been running great. Have had Multiple WD drives in a variety of computers over the better part of 15 years. Inexpensive but not cheap by any means!
