Es ist erstaunlich, wie dreist WesternDigital seine Kunden betrügt. Auf ausnahmslos allen Abbildungen hat die SSD eine ebene Oberfläche, als hätte sie einen Heatspreader oder wäre immerhin eine wärmeleitende Folie aufgebracht, die alle Bauteile abdeckt. Die Realität sieht anders aus. Die Bauteile verteilen sich auf den eigentlichen Speicher in der Nähe der Schraube und Controller nebst Cache in der Nähe des Sockels. Immerhin haben diese Bereiche eine einheitliche Höhe, sodass man einen Kühlkörper aufsetzen kann oder die am Mainboard befindlichen Lösungen nutzen kann, ohne dass sich die Platine durchbiegt.

The clone worked great. Only complaint is that the OEM recovery partitions didnt clone correctly. The Crucial clone software does is correctly, so not sure why WDC Acronis doesnt. Install is easy. No heat tape or heat sink but temps are about the same as my old sn530 which did have tape and a sink. This new drive maxed out at 150F during a 30 min file copy from an internal 2.5 SSD. I did have to manually set my boot order via BIOS to get it to boot up. Guessing that is because I have multiple disks. Very happy so far. Will update the review if anything goes bad.

I’m a fan. Not as overpriced as some Samsung drives with similar performance. Far more economic than anything labeled “gaming drive” and have no complaints about the speed even for large games like Flight Simulator.

Simple, light and good capacity

I have bought and installed several of these in my offices computers as an affordable upgrade to users systems that previously had HDDs. Crazy simple to install, and they last forever. Keep cranking these out, WD, and keep them affordable. Occasionally you find them a little cheaper at the local electronics blue shirt store, and they price match. Usually Amazon wins though.

First time it’s worked.. After I moved couple of file to this drive after a while again plugged into my MacBook .. it shows Not mounting. I tried all the way none of them fixing my issue. Trying erase the drive and reset up but that is also not working.

La anterior memoria M2 dejo de funcionar de un momento a otro con la perdida irremediable de mis datos, lo que me llevo a desconfiar de esta clase de unidades, sin embargo , cuando vi esta memoria me gusto la accesibilidad de precio y la experiencia personal con esta marca, que en lo personal ha sido muy buena, la compre y hasta ahora ha salido muy bien, fácil de instalar, fluida y sin riesgo aparente de perdida de datos, que es lo que mas me preocupa de otra marca.
