Really sturdy. Well worth the money, I’ve seen these brushes at Ulta Beauty for 16.99 so I jumped at the chance to purchase it here. I have really bad bed head in the morning so this brush is really good at taking care of it

I bought this brush for my granddaughter who is mixed race & has a sensitive scalp. Her hair type is also a mix of texture & thickness. She has 2C waves (think Shakira). 3B springy ringlets (think H.E.R.) 2B hair (think Salma Hayek). It ranges from tighter ringlets to loose curls with some straight & wavy very fine strands inbetween (tangle culprits). So its been challenging til we tried the wet brush in another brand.. Its a light weight plastic wet brush that we were ok with but she said that this one is MUCH better. She said it detangles her hair quickly and thinks its because of the heavier base. Its easy to maneuver in her hand while brushing. The bristles are flexible and gentle on her hair. No pain.. Only gain ..and Thank God..no more 2 hr avg detangling. The other thing we liked was the artwork design on it. Very pretty & great for any age.

The brush that I received is not the same as the picture show. It is a different brush.

Drying power not applicable as not a hairdryer. Glides easily through tangles with an easy to hold and easy to use design. Artwork is top notch and sturdy brush overall. I swim almost daily and this saved my hair.

Gorgeous to look at, but also has the epic effectiveness of the Wet Brush which, is the only brush we’ve used in our home since the first Wet Brush we tried about 7 years ago. For fine hair that tends to break when tangles are brushed....this brush is a MIST HAVE. This particular version of the Wet Brush has some added details like the silicone grip handle that make it even nicer than the original style. I saw this Ariel version in a cosmetics store 6 months ago for $17.99 and almost bought it, originally thinking it was a pinup girl. Then I realized it was Ariel and thought it was even cuter because everyone in this family is a huge Disney fan. I decided to wait on purchasing till I could come back and hopefully get it on a 30% off sale, which that store often does but every time I’d come back it was sold out. Finally I checked Amazon and found it for half the price so I ordered one for my Daughter for a gift. Once I got to see it out of the box o knew we had to have another! Keep your eyes on the price, it’s got some wild fluctuations from day to day...when it goes low, grab a couple for gifts! They are truly beautiful! PS They are NOT made of wood, which is what some reviewers seem to be inferring. They are a waterproof plastic or hard resin carved and pained to look like wood. I’m sure they are machine made as well as machine painted but they “look” hand carved and painted. Really, really cute.
