This is about what I expected.

It was for a science project. Solved the problem

I bought these to hook a 9 volt battery up to clean my fuel injectors out. Worked like a charm & cheap.

I have purchased many of these over the years and have found that some of the plastic coverings become so stiff that they are useless. These look like the better quality plastic/rubber coverings which should last many years without becoming too stiff to use. BUT - only time will really tell.
