What We Do In The Shadows

The only reason I started watching this was because of the great reviews. In the hour or so that I watched it, I laughed once. The rest of it was pretty much just boring.

Quite simply, this film stands only behind Waiting For Guffman and This Is Spinal Tap as one of the most ludicrously funny mockmumentaries ever to exist.

Funny, smart and highly entertaining.

Imaginative, and very funny. Dark, but so much more. Literate, playful and surprisingly sweet.

Jemaines lips. I think thats all I need to say about this one.

What We Do in the Shadows [Blu-ray] arrived yesterday, 4/29/20. Ive never seen it. Ive become a huge fan of the TV show on Hulu. Wanted to see where it all started. I love special features and this promised 2 hours worth of them. The blu-ray arrives, its in a large enough case that you would think it holds a few disks. Nope, just one. I slide it in the player to watch during dinner and the menu pops right up, no FBI warnings, just straight to menu and the only options are, Play Movie, Trailer and Audio Options. None of the special features promised.

I just bought this movie after catching a small portion on HBO I think but it wasnt coming back on so I found it at Best Buy, this movie has become one of my favorites, I was watched the short which is included in the movie and was so surprised, this is a great movie to add to your collection if you like off beat funny horror movies. I would give it three thumbs up if I had three thumbs...:-)

Very funny. It goes for some easy laughs to start, but then it builds to something completely logical, ridiculous, and human.
