I have enjoyed rifle hunting for years and should have bought this sooner. I can’t speak to the accuracy as I have nothing to compare it to but it is believable, and simple to use.

This instrument is easy to use, though I have not compared its accuracy to any similar meters. Given that you might only use it a few times a year, it’s kind of a luxury item if you are not a gunsmith or OCD with trigger kits.

Works well within its limitations. But, i couldnt measure my DA trigger on my Ruger SP101 because its over 12 pounds (more like 14). If youre just measuring semi-autos or rifles it should work fine. Hopefully after I polish my Ruger trigger and replace a couple of springs itll be below 12 pounds and I can then measure it, too. Overall, I would strongly recommend it.

I purchased this device specifically to figure out the trigger weight of a custom project I was working on and I was immediately impressed. I did have to do a little trial and error on my part because I didn’t fully read the instructions. But, after mastering it, the device worked perfectly! Basically what was happening was that I went too fast. You need to pull slow and smooth with your finger. You cannot pull fast and you cannot pull the on the actual device like you can with non-digital scales. Once you master that you will get very accurate results. I also love that it comes with a sleeve attachment to help with triggers that have built in safeties. So far I have used this with several different firearm and trigger types. I highly recommend this product. Especially if you need to test a heavy double action trigger.

Adjusted my trigger on a Pardini 22 using the results of this electronic scale. Instant feedback to adjustments and will give you an average for several trigger pulls. We have the steel weight set at the range which I used to double check the Wheeler and the trigger pull was exactly the same.
