> 3 dayI purchased this device specifically to figure out the trigger weight of a custom project I was working on and I was immediately impressed. I did have to do a little trial and error on my part because I didn’t fully read the instructions. But, after mastering it, the device worked perfectly! Basically what was happening was that I went too fast. You need to pull slow and smooth with your finger. You cannot pull fast and you cannot pull the on the actual device like you can with non-digital scales. Once you master that you will get very accurate results. I also love that it comes with a sleeve attachment to help with triggers that have built in safeties. So far I have used this with several different firearm and trigger types. I highly recommend this product. Especially if you need to test a heavy double action trigger.

Greater than one weekDon’t buy this for competition shooting sports. It’s a good 2 pounds off!

> 3 dayany measuring instrument that requires practice to use effectively is garbage. I have tried to use this on many triggers to no avail. rifles, handguns shotguns, doesnt matter. the variance is pounds different. Not ounces, pounds. pulling on the main body as designed, results in some strange angular force vectors affecting accuracy. For a gauge that reads in tenths of an ounce, I expect at least, a repeatability of +/- 1 oz. not four pound spread on a competition pistol. You cannot pull straight back on the pressure sensor. I have more consistent readings from a 4 dollar fish scale. That may only be 1/4 pound resolution but it repeats.

> 3 dayI give this one star because Amazon sent me an opened package that someone else had returned to Amazon. The gauge was defective and would not return to zero.

> 3 daySome double-action revolvers require more than 12 pounds so it would be nice if this could handle just one more pound.

> 3 dayThis is a great device for trigger pull tests after gunsmithing and making sure you have that 30oz pull
