I have a non-poofy, nontraditional wedding dress but this fits it plus my petticoat. It is white opaque so others cannot see what is inside the bag. It has not fallen apart, though I will update if it does over the course of the next 6 months. For my dress which is not that poofy there is a lot of extra room at the bottom of the bag- if you do not want the bottom of the bag touching the ground you may need to find a higher place to hang it than your typical clothing. However, this did not bother me

Needed a bag for my dress. This one has worked out great so far.

The item was reasonably priced, used to store daughters wedding gown. It was a little long for her dress since there was no large train but it would be great for a longer gown.
