White Mountain Puzzles Pencil Collage - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

Ordered this puzzle for my boyfriend as one of his 30 birthday presents for his 30th birthday, and he LOVED it. When we opened the box, I could immediately tell this company really cares about their product. It has that great puzzle smell(thats a thing, Im not weird), the pieces come all in a plastic bag so they are protected until you open them and ruin them yourself in your puzzling excitement, and THEN, oh, THEN, my favorite thing EVER about this puzzle, (cause who doesnt have a favorite puzzle feature?) is that inside the box there is a freakin STAND for the LID so you can PROP IT UP for easier viewing while you puzzle!!! Like, WHAT IS PUZZLE LIFE EVEN?! That is SO COOL. Wanna know the best part of my review? I dont even like puzzling. But my boyfriend LOVES it, and I can appreciate good craftsmanship and a quality product without having the desire to use it. Whenever I want to buy more puzzles, cause I guess I like puzzlers, I will most definitely order from White Mountain.

This is great for those who want a challenge! All pieces were there. Received it 3 or 4 yrs ago and loved putting it together then. Gave away but ordered again because I wanted & knew it would be difficult and fun.

Loved this puzzle! Really challenging, but the names and colors on the pencils make it possible to connect enough pieces to keep you addicted - great fun!

Very fun but very hard puzzle. Out of 5 white mountain puzzle I have this took me the longest. Personally I prefer the puzzles that arent so challenging and repetitive but still enjoyed it and this company has very good quality pieces.

I know that some people have commented about this puzzle not having all the pieces; I can’t make that comment, I think it had all the pieces, but I have a dog that sometimes will chomp on the pieces; hence a few pieces missing at the end; however, they all appeared present. This is a good puzzle and kept me engaged for a longer period of time than a few others. The color variation in the pencils allows one to focus on where the piece might go, as well as the different logo’s that are within the puzzle. I was intentionally looking for a more difficult puzzle and this one fits the bill. In all honesty though, “The Artists Wife” puzzle was a bit more difficult, mainly because of the vast amount of white that was in it. Yet, this puzzle has no content that might make it a bit more questionable for children. It’s a great family puzzle. I had no issues with the pieces, they were sturdy and snapped together without a question as to whether or not the piece belonged. I was able to use the box as a guide and it was fairly representative of what the puzzle actually was, sometimes I had to spend a bit of time trying to make out the logo’s on the pencils, but overall, it was a non-issue. I’d recommend this puzzle.

Got my husband this puzzle for Christmas, took him about a month to do, but, he said it was fun.

This is a very colorful, attractive, and interesting puzzle. I purchased it as a gift for a friend who is really good at puzzles and he was pleased. I like it enough that I may buy another for myself!! I dont know about the quality of the pencil puzzle yet as I just gave it to my friend yesterday. However, I was given a White Mountain brand puzzle (Oregon) and the quality was good. (As a side note, while we were putting the puzzle together, we noticed there was a mistake in the information on the Oregon puzzle. My husband emailed the company. The owner responded to us the same day. The owner had already notified the artist and they are going to change the error in the next printing of the Oregon puzzle. We were SO impressed with the prompt and excellent customer service at White Mountain puzzles!)

This puzzle is great. Im surprised at the quality of the pieces. Thick and sturdy and the colors are vibrant and true.

That is what I was going for. My brother-in-law is a puzzle nut. This should keep him busy over Christmas break. Photo accurate and it arrived on time.

It was challenging and fun! I love the colors and the messages/logos on the pencils. I would highly recommend this one for the methodical or chaotic or sectional puzzle-workers. :-) I will work this one again and again!
