White Mountain Puzzles Story Time - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

I loved the design of this puzzle. I like collections, so I can work on a small portion of the puzzle at a time. First portion I worked on this one was the easiest--Pat the Bunny. And there was a piece missing. I dont think I lost it, because I just didnt have time. I realized it was missing almost immediately. And then, by the time I finished the puzzle, there were several pieces where the back was separating from the printed layer of the puzzle. The cut was good, the thickness of the pieces was good, and they fit together ok. But somehow the quality was not quite there for me.

This was a great puzzle for the family to put together! It was fun to recognize some of our favorite books from childhood, and that made it even easier to piece together. The pieces were a little flimsy, which made parts hard to transfer to link with other pieces, but other than that, I would say it was really well made. I would definitely consider buying from this puzzle company again, as the puzzles featured in their catalogue enclosed in the box looked great, too!

I love White Mountain puzzles and have bought quite a few over the years for myself and my mother-in-law. The pieces are very sturdy and well made, and I love that it comes with a box holder. However, my son and I really disappointed to find out that this puzzle was missing a piece. White Mountains website states that they wont replace a piece, unfortunately. It is a bummer, since weve bought so many different puzzles from this brand.

Great puzzle!

Bleh. I just finished taking all the pieces out of the box and sorting them and there were SO many that were still stuck together. There are also a LOT of pieces that the layers of paper backing are pealing off. These are the thinner type puzzle pieces, but the last White Mountain thin-piece puzzle I did was better quality than this one. Ive barely gotten it out of the box and its disappointing.

We are somewhat new to White Mountain Puzzles, but love the larger sized pieces for easy assembly. These puzzle do take up quite a bit of space but we have the space needed so its not a problem for us. The colors are bold and the details are crisp and clear, unlike some puzzles with muddy colors that make it more difficult to tell where the piece may fit. Our entire family enjoyed working on this puzzle over a weekend, and each of us had our favorite books to claim as the section we wanted to assemble. This is definitely a puzzle we will do again and again for years to come!

Fun puzzle! The pieces are vibrant and interlock nicely. A very good puzzle for the family if you want a bit of nostalgia and something challenging, but not overly so.
