> 24 hourFirst off I have repaired 70-150 iPads. These iPad airs have a flex cable (like a tab) that has to be folded over and adhered. If you do not fold it correctly, you get glitches and partial working screens. However, this screen brand and sold by First Choose was pre folded and adhered- Smart move by the seller. Second, I have tried 5 different sellers to get this screen with the copper color frame inside, it’s just a better screen. Third, there are no grid lines. Yes you read that right. Some cheap junk brands have little dots that you can visibly see (touch grid lines). So I recommend this seller “first choose” I purchased the iPad 5th gen screen. For model a1822. If you are a first time DIY’er be sure to watch videos and check out the iFixit website. If you have partial screen touch, check that both connections are secure (they should actually click on), one is for the top half and the other is for the bottom. I only wish Amazon had a way to save good sellers and block bad sellers.

> 24 hourI wasn’t happy because the screen was broke and I got the wrong sizes. I believe I missed ordered the iPhone 6 Plus glass so I’ll take responsibility of this one. I just needed the right sizes and not brokend

> 24 hourYou have to read these product descriptions so carefully. This company didnt bother to mention in the HEADLINE of the product listing that there is NO HOME BUTTON included with this kit. For inexpensive products like this, I should have been more careful and taken a more detailed look. When I reviewed their listing (after the fact) I noticed buried in the product description in fine print it said no home button included but all the other competing products mentioned INCLUDES HOME BUTTON right in their headlines....not this one. I pulled the trigger too quickly and ordered it without reading all the fine print. I had to figure a way to salvage the old home button from my broken screen to make this work....the iPad works now, but the home button does not function. If I had gotten a screen with the new home button built in just like I thought I was purchasing then this installation would have been very straight forward. The Amazon person was nice enough to send a replacement but when I asked them to ensure that there was a home button in the product they sent me for replacement this time, they said yes, of course and there was NO HOME BUTTON in the new product they sent me. Message to the company, First Choose---please be more respectful of your clients who are do it yourself type people who do not necessarily have all of the additional tools required to salvage an old home button and include the essential information about your product in the HEADLINE DESCRIPTION of the product.....very disappointing and MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENT for this product.

> 24 hourIt was the first time trying this. None of the tools helped open it, I had to use an x-acto knife. The tape with the kit was worthless too. The tape is important because it is how the unit is held together in the end. My son pushed it down a couple days later because it was popping up and when he did the screen cracked.
