I had a question that was easy with a YouTube video. Make sure you clean the screen before adding the new glass because once installed you cannot remove it. Took about 20 minutes from removal to installation.

I give a 5 start on easy to install, but that dissent mean this is a simple thing, if you arent patient dont try it, have to be meticulous to remove the old one, but the new installation is really easy and quick.

It came cracked, I ordered it again, and it was cracked again. It’s frustrating that it happened twice in a row.

The tools that are included broke but we improvised. All in all it was nerve wracking but pretty easy to replace the screen.

The item is a replacement touch screen kit for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 SM-T350 (The old one) . Included are the touch screen inside a protection case like a book, plus a bag with tools. It comes *without* instructions. The seller recommends you search for and watch a YouTube video demonstrating how to repair your tablet. You should HEED that advice! I watched a guy on YouTube go over a similar repair which was a time saver for me because there are many things to go over that I didnt know. This is no easy repair--you must be methodical and make sure you take precautions before starting, because shards of glass will fly all over as you remove the old screen, so wear safety glasses. I recommend you use an old towel to work on to capture those tiny shards. Make sure you remove as much of the old glue as possible. I recommend you temporarily connect the new screen before you remove the backing and turn on the tablet to see if it works. Clean the LCD screen thoroughly! I also recommend you disconnect the screen before removing the backing because trying to center that thing while tethered to the tablet is a pain; just remember to thread the connector while youre installing the screen definitely. Overall it was great value because a new tablet (of a similar size and quality) would drain my wallet at the tune of 150 dollars or worse. Even refurbished Tab 8s are still above 100 US. This repair is not for the squeamish, though.
