Whiteside 6210 CNC Spoilboard Surfacing Router Bit, 1/4 Shank

Used this to cut a table top from a elm tree block of wood. Cut this without any problems and the bit is still sharp.

Great price. I recently bought a CNC machine and wanted to surface my waste board. This bit was exactly what I needed and within my budget.

I love this bit. It cleans materials without leaving any marks whatsoever. I bought this one after wasting my time on another bit for half the price. This is still a very affordable, high quality bit. I will buy more of this one when needed.

Works as intended, and cheap enough to warrant keeping around. I use it for surfacing MDF wasteboards only, wouldnt use it to surface my actual workpiece I dont think.

I just purchased a cnc router and needed a surfacing bit for my wasteboard. After doing a little research and asking some friends, they suggested this Whiteside bit. There are other, more expensive bits out there but since Im just starting off, I thought Id give this one a try. Worked very well for my needs and left a very smooth and level surface. Surfacing MDF produces a ton of dust so make sure you have a decent dust collection system or enclosure and of course, wear a mask when working with MDF. For the price and quality, I felt it was a solid buy.

I use it for wood and epoxy and it does the job great! still hasnt gotten dull on me. You can never go wrong with white side

I have a Shapeoko 3XXL and needed a bit to clean up the spoil board. The Whiteside is simple to use. I emailed Whiteside support and they provided the feeds and speeds to use. I have a lot of Whiteside bits and love them all.

Once I surfaced my spoilboard I was able to properly tram it. Then I surfaced again and now all my cuts are dead on flat as the should be. This is a got to item!

I bought this bit to surface my CNC wasteboard. It did a wonderful job. What impressed me most was that I had 6 steel bolts holding down my wasteboard. The bolts were set below the surface of the wasteboard and I thought that I had enough clearance to cut away 2mm off the top. I was wrong and the bit ran over 4 of the 6 bolt heads. It wasnt intentional, nevertheless I didnt stop the job as I wanted to see if the bit would hold up. Every time it ran over a bolt head, I would hold my breath as sparks shot all around the dust shoe. After the job finished, the bit still looked great. I will definitely buy this again.
