> 24 hourOnce I surfaced my spoilboard I was able to properly tram it. Then I surfaced again and now all my cuts are dead on flat as the should be. This is a got to item!

> 24 hourIve read stellar reviews and have used this bit for a handful of projects that were spread out over about a month. Facing my spoilboard, and a couple MDF & Birch wood projects. I tried 1 epoxy inlay project and the bit was actually ripping out epoxy along each pass. This bit worked great at first. Not anymore. The edges of the but are not quite sharp anymore. Theyre actually polished looking, which lens me to believe that the carbide grade isnt that great and/or the relief grind is shallow. First off, I know for a fact that the relief being angle on this bit is very shallow. In the machining industry, relief grind is generally @3 degrees. This does not appear to be the case. The cutting edges are polished. One usually only seen this when machining extremely abrasive materials such as glass filled composites, titanium, or nickel based alloys. I highly recommend paying the extra money for insert bits.

> 24 hourIve used this bit several times to flatting a few slabs. I wanted a slightly smaller cutter so I could use my palm router and not overload it. This bit works perfect and leaves a great finish on my slabs. It took 2 passes of sanding after to get a great finish.

> 24 hourThis is my favorite flattening bit hands down. I use it in my CNC machine as well as in a custom built router sled. It leaves very slight tool marks, that disappear almost instantly when you go over them with an 80 and then 120 grit sand papers.

> 24 hourPacked well the blades were sealed to keep them sharp. SSI far the durability has held up, Ive only used it 3 times. Still has a sharp edge.

> 24 hourGood price. Cut through my waste board to resurface it with no problems. Ran it .1 DPP @ 100IPM.

> 24 hourWish it could be a larger circumference, but pretty much all 1/4 collets are a 3/4 inch circumference. Did the job (flattening hardwood slab with router jig) very well.

> 24 hourI bought this bit to level and flatten some live edge rounds. I made a special table with adjustable rails and a trough to run a router back and forth across the rounds. The bit worked perfectly in my setup. My only regret is that I probably should have bought a wider bit to minimize the number of passes.
