> 3 dayVery nice cutter. Was using a variety 2 flute 1/4 shank 1/2 cutting head (2 zero points) for a v carve inlay on fine text and this one cut much better. It’s my go to engraving bit

> 3 dayWhiteside bits are excellent and this one was no different. Let me explain how I used it. I was making a rather complex cutting board for my music teacher brothers birthday. The plan called for a layer of ebony veneer to be glued between each of the keys to simulate a thin shadow. I ordered and returned several ebony veneer orders because they just were not uniformly black. So I departed from the plan and decided to vein the surface of the black walnut and hard maple keys and then apply ebony stain into the veins with an old ink pen. The 60 degree angle on the bit allowed me to lay the stain about 1/32nd of an inch deep giving me crisp black lines just below the surface. I then covered the lines with epoxy resin and sanded the excess epoxy off of the surface. It worked perfectly. BTW, this board was made for show not cutting foodstuffs.

> 3 dayQuality bit! Sharp is an understatement. Be careful removing the cover from the bit or ull see just how sharp. Have run this bit for over 20 hrs now and still as sharp as it was from the package.

Greater than one weekI don’t think that this bit is any better than the Foos 60 degree bit. The Foos has a sharper point and is comparable in price.

> 3 dayIt arrived on time. This was important as I had a deadline to meet. It did the job I needed and I will use and order again as soon as I wear this bit out. Cost-wise these are cheap enough, I will not spend time trying to sharpen them.
