Whiteside Router Bits 2292 Chamfer Bit with 45-Degree 7/16-Inch Cutting Length

Retired an old chamfer bit and Im more than happy with this replacement. Chamfered 8 long edges on a 7 maple desk with a handheld router, and it moved through the wood effortlessly and left a finished edge behind.

This bit is in a dedicated router for chamfering...used on every project. Takes forever to dull. When it does, a diamond paddle whips it into shape. keep the bearing clean and this will be a lifetime bit.

Cannot do better. Highly recommend.

The whiteside 45* chamfer bit was very nice to work with. I used it to chamfer the edges of a wall mounted coat rack I made and the chamfer gave it a nice touch. Whiteside makes nice router bits.

Nice sharp bit. Nice balance. The bearing although small in diameter is wide so it wont leave a bearing imprint on the side of the wood. Good quality bit.
