> 3 dayIf one is using it in a trim router be very careful, it can grab and kick pretty easily. But it does a really nice job with the flush trim.

> 3 dayThis is the best router bit that I have ever used. I have never seen its equal. It cuts like a hot knife through warm compliant butter. Ive paid $20 for bits not 1/10 of this bits quality. I purchased 2 of these because I have a large project that I am working on, and I anticipated needing a backup. I am now done with this phase of my project and only needed 1 of the bits. I will be keeping the 2nd one as a backup. If there are better bits than this, please enlighten me, because I cannot even imagine it.

> 3 dayLove this bit. It replaced both my jigsaw and my flush trim bit for the project I was working on. Far superior to the previous bit I bought that broke on the first use. This has ran 53 4 ft by 3 ft template 3/4 in. plywood pieces through it. Still cuts miraculously. Great for template routing where you dont want to use a jigsaw to precut, not to mention much faster at it than a jigsaw.. This is currently my favorite bit.

> 3 dayNot sure if it was user error but whenever I use this it would leave scratch marks on the template wood that I was running the ball bearing part over. So I would have to go back and sand and smooth those areas out. I never had this problem with the Freud trim bit.

21-11-2024I bought this bit after getting tearout with another brands flush trim bit. I used it to trim some ash, a wood notorious for tearout, edge banding down even with the plywood surface and had a glass smooth finish. This bit is the typical, excellent whiteside quality. Worth every penny.

> 3 dayI am a huge Freud fan but thought that I would give Whiteside a try since I’ve heard a lot of good about them. This bit is second to none, hands down. It is quieter, smoother abs way faster than any straight fluted but I’ve ever used.

> 3 dayI needed to make a bunch of chairs and made templates to flush trim the stock (0.75” and 1”). Instead of precut the pieces on a bandsaw I tried to shortcut the process by directly route the material at once. Long story short it doesn’t work that way since bit in contact with the waste side as well. At some point it messes up the template since scrap test piece was slightly warped:( Anyway, I ended up using the bandsaw and a regular 1/2” straight trim bit (right side of piece in 2nd picture). Also, the small diameter having the disadvantage that imperfections in the templates telemarking more than on a larger diameter bit. Bottom line for me is that I will use the smaller bit only when need in small curves, corners.

> 3 daySo far I love the white side router bits. They are sharp and leave almost no tear out. So you have very little winding to do afterwards. Iv bought Four bits from them and I already want more.
