We ordered this as a result of not being able to get our 2 year old wifi extender to work with our new dual band router we had from Comcast. Packaging was great and the install/set up was quick and easy!! We mainly wanted to extend our wifi range to outside under our chickee hut, where we like to watch TV in the cooler weather.

Not sure whats up with all the 5 star reviews. Maybe I got a bad one but I cant recommend this device. The setup was easy enough, and it worked for a while, then got very flakey, dropping in & out at random. One thing I noticed is that it has to be VERY close to your wi-fi router to get the Green LED (strong signal). Whats the point if it has to sit so close to your router? Returned the item.

I was trying to extend my routers signal to my outdoor patio area. Even following the direction of keeping the extender to a halfway point between where the weak signal was to the router the extender had a weak signal. It never could reach out to where I needed it too and it takes forever to connect to your device.

Works better than I expected,now I have wi fi through out the whole house. Our wi-fi wasnt even reaching the front of the house and signal was struggling to climb the stairs to the second story.

The item I received was not the one in the picture. Set up was very easy but the reception is minimal.

The instructions made it sound like I plug it in, press the button and it would appear on my computer as a network device to install. The instructions did not detail out the process and what to expect. I need a plug and play model to work for me.

Perfect! We love this and it serves our two roku boxes at the back of the house. Works as stated and was incredibly easy to set up.

dosnt seem to work

Even tho I got 100 percent signal on my ps4 from my router it still be lagging unless I move in right stop so it could reach where ps4 at., but this is better Cus even when I play street fighter and the person signal lo it still dont lag. So it 5 for sure.
