I have used this extender before in a very large, long stucco house to get my wifi signal from the front to the back. Worked like a charm even through the thick stucco walls. It will shoot your signal a good distance and give you a full 5 bars! I was able to internet game at the farthest reach of my house with this awesome gadget.Recently moved into a new house. Easy to place on any outlet. And really works as intended. If you need a wifi boost get this little puppy and youll be a happy camper.

We fought for weeks with a weak WiFi signal in our home...minutes after installing our extender. all of the problems evaporated!! What a great purchase. I just moved the router to a more central location in the house and that took care of the problem better than this range extender.

I live in prewar NYC apartment and have my router set up in the living room which unfortunately is at the other end of the apt. In total, 4 thick walls are in the way which was causing wifi in my room to be less than stellar. Service would fluctuate between 3-4 bars which sounds okay but I was having significant problems with service cutting off at 3 bars. I set this up and now have full bars in my room. See my pic; jaboridrive_ext is The wifi connection in my room with this device and you can see all the bars at full, jabronidrive is the reg connection and you can see its the connection isnt as strong. You have to initially set this up close to your router but after the initial set up you can move it wherever you want. I ran a few tests and I did not get the full bars in my room until I placed the device in my room. I tried putting it in a couple of other places a little further away and did not get the same result in my room so I dont think this would like increase the range on a whole floor, at least not 1 of them.

I just bought a Kindle Fire HDX but was having problems getting wifi in my family room. Thought I would give this a try and I am very pleased with the results. Its easy to set up and works great, very happy with my purchase!

This is an excellent range extender. Unlike some of the cheaper ones, it does not need to be positioned near the router. I found this to be easier than using the suggested web browser/wi-fi or WPS button setup options.

habe diese kabel bestellt, um tv, nas usw. zu vernetzen. mich hat die übertragungsgweschwindigkeit nicht weiter gestört, alles lief relativ flüssig. ich besitze eine fritzbox, welche natürlich 4gigabit lan unterstützt. sie stehen auch auf powermodus:-) mit diesem kabel bekomme ich nur 100 mbit, das mitgelieferte kabel der fritzbox angeschlossen - 1000mbit.habe auch diverse andere kabel probiert. leider bin auch nicht der einzige mit dierem problem. 15mb/s vorher mit echten gigabit kabeln 75mb/s. je nach dateigröße.
