The projector is worth the money, I like to use it at night for watching movies on the wall. We don’t have a tv upstairs and this works well through hdmi to my iPad. It’s however not bright enough to watch anything in any room with lights on. The speaker is plenty loud for a small room, but will get drowned out if you’re in a big space with many people. CONS: The picture quality is not native based, what they say and what you get are completely different. That being said it looks okay if you keep it around 40-50” or smaller on a wall. I don’t know why they’re allowed to advertise one resolution but in reality if you look at the actual product manufacturers booklet it’s different than that’s in the advertisement photos. There should be some regulation on that. I also have not been able to get any wifi / Bluetooth connection to work, but like I said I use hdmi Overall I believe this product is the best projector for this price range.

Bought this mainly for my kids. The internal speaker is ok. The quality is great. The power cable does seem to be touchy it Very easily falls out. I use it often but I suggest getting compatible speakers. All in all it’s pretty good for the price!. Update the customer service is amazing. Worth the 5 star rating just to be treated well!!!

At the time of this writing, the K3 is the best combination of brightness, picture quality, contrast ratio, fan noise, speaker wattage, and connectivity among the low-cost projectors that youll find on Amazon. Anyone giving this projector less than 4 stars probably didnt fully understand all of the drawbacks that come along with the budget projectors. Some things to know: all of the low-cost projectors essentially leverage the same LED technology to varying degrees of success: they have limited brightness, limited contrast, limited keystone correction, weak color, and cheap lenses. The use of the cheap lenses produces an image that is clearer in the center of the frame than on the fringes. All projectors in this price range suffer from the reduced clarity on the edges of the image. This will be exacerbated when the keystone correction is involved and/or when the projector isnt well-aligned with the screen. Almost every single budget manufacturer conflates lux, lumens, and ANSI lumens in their marketing materials on Amazon, leaving the customer disappointed and confused when the image at home isnt what was advertised. While not overtly mentioned, WiMiUS earns points from me for mentioning the true brightness level of this projector, which is 1500 ANSI lumens (so it is best suited for dimmer rooms or night viewing). Use this number to compare it to the higher-end model projectors like BENQ, Optoma, or Epson. You can use the lux or lumens (without the ANSI prefix) to compare brightness against its price peers). So, understanding the drawbacks, you can compare the K3 to the others in the range. You wont find a higher contrast ratio, you wont find higher brightness, you wont find better fringe image clarity, you wont find louder speakers, you wont find a softer fan. The K3 also offers 1080p at 60Hz while many peers offer only 30Hz, which can result in flickering imagery with some input sources. You can connect to the K3 via WiFi, and it has a 3.5mm audio jack for external speaker output. There are a few features that some peers offer that the K3 does not, like Bluetooth audio, which would have been great, and better, or even motorized/electronic, keystone correction. But the K3 excels where it really matters--brightness, contrast, color (note: youll need to tweak the default settings to improve it), and clarity. It also happens to have the loudest built-in speaker set coupled with one of the softest fans. So if you are not a videophile, and you do not expect this projector to fully compete with a $1000 Optoma, you will be more than pleased. Even if you are one of those folks, I think you would be pleasantly surprised by the quality. Its an impressive product at an impressive price, and very easy to set up and use. Perhaps more important than anything Ive stated above, is that it is just plain fun to watch movies and sports on a giant screen, and the K3 delivers that experience in an outstanding overall package.

So Ive tested this projector extensively and this is what I have found out. the good: - the projector does look okay in a completely dark house. but really, any project will look fine in a 100% dark environment. even in 100% dark room, only vivid mode looks half decent, all other modes made this projector seem very dark - the rated 60hz refresh rate is true, windows shows it is 60hz and videos do not lag at all. this is the only one truly good thing I can say about this projector the bad: - they lied about the 7200 lumens, it is no where near that. seems more like 1000 lumens than 7200. I bought this projector because it claims it is the brightest but it is not. Not even close, I have seen 10 year old projectors brighter than this projector. you need complete darkness for this projector to look decent. any small light, even a tiny LED lamp will make the image washed out. also, if the room is completely dark but the next room have lights on, the screen will also look washed out. I am seriously considering returning this projector because of this false advertising. Amazon really should fact check the products posted on their website...this is not acceptable. - text is really hard to read even when the focus is at the best I can calibrate. images seem ok, but text just seem so blurry unless the font size is like 25+ or something. forget about using this projector for powerpoint or excel meetings, you will not be able to read the text in any comfortable manner - the 2 x 10w speakers are shockingly weak! I was looking forward to some strong sound but what I got was extremely weak. my laptop speakers sound better than these.. what a shame. I again question if they are actually both 10w. and yes, I turned the volume to 100% on the remote - this projector claims it is not using digital keystone, everything is manual or optical. while this is true, the corners still look very blurry and I dont understand why. the projector is at exactly the center of the screen height so there was no need to adjust any keystone, and it does project a good rectangle image. however, the corners are very blurry, while the center seems sharp. watching movies you will not notice this as much as the screen constantly moves so you have no time to notice the blurry corners unless the scene is stagnant and then this problem presents itself. - while I have the projector located exactly center to the screen both horizontally and vertically and even laser measured height to exact center, the image still presented a bowed/curved top. the bottom is flat, but the top is slightly curved like a rainbow. this caused me to be dizzy and have eye strain. another super negative that is cause me to think about returning this projector. - while amazon claims this to be a brand new unit and I made sure when I added it to the cart it was from the new vendor and not from used side, I can tell this projector was previously owned. the lense is extremely covered with dust already even though the lense cap was on and I can see the inside glass has a huge smudge that I cannot clean from the outside. Overall I would not recommend this company Wimius or this projector. the projector is work just ok if you are in a completely dark room, otherwise the image will be very washed out. this plus the flat out bold faced lie about the lumens makes me NOT recommend this at all. I would suggest you look elsewhere.

I bought this projector because I wanted the wifi feature to make connecting easier. The wifi connectivity is great, but the picture quality was poor. It had big blurry spots even after cleaning and adjusting the lens. Im not sure if it was just a fluke, but I had to return it to get a different projector.

I managed to get this projector on super sale, and it is great for the price. It seems like it will be perfect for an outdoor movie night, as it has a built in speaker (which isnt quite loud enough for my hard of hearing wife). So far, however, Ive only projected it onto my wall. In the pictures you can see its output compared to my (now quite old) infocus X10 projector. The picture distorts the size of the screens, the left X10 screen is bigger. Also, the X10 is projected on a grey screen, while the WiMius K3 is on a white wall (and some paper). This WiMius is much brighter than my X10, which is pretty amazing for an LED lamp projector. The smaller screen and lighter wall give the K3 and advantage in brightness, but I still think it would be brighter than the X10. I would have mad the screen bigger, but there is no zoom, and the projector was near the back of the wall, so it is quite a long throw projector. Still should be great for outdoor movies, though. When first turned on the contrast was set to 50, but it was way high. You couldnt really see anything in the darker areas. I dialed it down, but Im still not sure I got it right. As you can see in the last picture, the court has much more of a range of wood tones on the X10. I havent used any of the wifi or app features, as I just plugged in my fireTV stick. The projector itself isnt tiny, it is not as big as my infocus X10, but it isnt one of those really tiny ones either. You probably would want something smaller for business travel, but it is perfect for a trip to the back yard. (There was a $100 promo and a $60 promo that could be stacked at the time.) after 2 years still is working awesome. it was a good buy for me.

Update : What I’m working with is a MacBook, an IPhone, a fire stick and of course the internet. NOTE: this device will not play any major streaming channels unless they’re coming from a fire stick or chrome cast. Once the firestick is connected, if a streaming service isn’t loading best bet is to delete it and download it again. Disney plus was having issues for me so I took it off and redownload it on the firestick through the projector. It started to work. The picture quality comes out clearer with a fire stick but semi clear when screen mirroring my iphone. I found as well that there’s also an audio delay when screen mirroring my iphone. Audio sounds decent. It’s really like “you get what you paid for” except it should have been $70-$80. So far no glitches. The projector comes with a power cord, a cleaning cloth, an hdmi cable, 3ft power cable and the 3in1 av cables, and a lens cover. The instruction manual will tell you different methods of connecting with both IOS and androids. With the new MacBooks you’ll need an HDMI adapter. With an iPhone you’ll use screen mirror after hooking both the projector and the iPhone up to the same wifi.

My kids and I have used this projector so many times to watch movies from our laptop. The picture quality is crisp and clear. We have had several parties and people have commented on how they can’t believe how well it projects whether near or far in relation to the screen. Our teenagers love having big movie get-togethers and any other projector we have had pales in comparison.
