It serves its purpose. It easily connected our Wii with our new home theater system. The picture is not as clear on the TV as the Playstation but we were ok with that because of the age of the Wii. That didnt make it any less fun. My kids dont seem to notice.

The Wii U interfered with the eARC HDMI output on our new Samsung Q80T. This device allowed me to bypass the Wii U HDMI output to avoid the problem with the TV. I had to go into the settings on the Wii U to adjust the picture size. After that, no more sound problems!! Worth the $12!

After getting rid of our last TV set that was compatible with the wii cables several years ago my family has been unable to play... that is, until now. Easy to plug in and hook up the wii. Perfect for the use of Wii

I have no way of playing my wii on my TV without an hdmi adapter. This thing works, but the picture is very noisy, and not great quality.

I am so happy I came across this item. My kids have several gaming systems, old and new, and because I can’t keep up with how to operate ALL these new games that come out, I like to use the older gaming systems. One of the systems I love to use is the Wii, however, I was not able to play the Wii because the system was too old to use with my new TV. I was very disappointed to learn that I could not play the Wii anymore, especially with it still being operational and in excellent condition. I then stumbled across this product, which was easy to install, stating that I could convert my old Wii to an HDMI. I was soooo ecstatic because now I can still enjoy gaming time with my children without me feeling overwhelmed with trying to learn how to play the newer gaming systems. This was most definitely a great buy for me.

Worked just like it supposed to.

When my daughter moved and took the Wii with her, the setup of her TV and DVD player did not allow for the stock video input from the Wii console. Switching to an HDMI input was the only option, so this one was chosen from Amazon. It arrived a day earlier than quoted, and took all of 5 minutes in install (most of the time was spent routing cables in a neat way and out of sight). Works perfectly and very happy with the purchase!
