> 3 dayWorks Great. This allows the amazing versatility to tripod photography. It was especially useful for the eclipse and has been great for wildlife photography.

Greater than one weekI was really struggling to take pictures of wildlife with my heavy 200-500 mm lens mounted on a ball head. If you loosen it to follow something, its all over the place ... very hard to control. If you tighten it a bit to minimize the movement, it still doesnt help. I always worried about it being tight enough if I wanted to walk away for a minute, because if it wasnt tight enough the camera lens would lurch forward and possibly damage the lens or camera.

> 3 dayWorth every dime. Bought a cheaper gimbal and hated it. The Wimberley is beyond good -- its wondrous and has made a huge difference when using my Canon 500 mm lens. As sturdy as an anvil. Dont waste your money on cheap knock-offs.

> 3 dayThis is a wonderful piece of equipment especially for taking pictures with a long lens in low light. Works so much better than a ball head. Should have purchased it a long time ago.

> 3 dayI mainly use a monopod to stabilize my shots which is easy to carry. When a bird flies by I used to just lift up the monopod to catch the shot. This allow me to just pan up and follow the bird as it passes by. Nice smooth action and a very stable platform to shoot from.
